JWL International Law Firm | Full-time | In-office | $55,000–$80,000 DOE

JWL International is a modern, business-driven law firm serving clients on five continents. As we grow our Flower Mound office, we're looking for a locally based Legal Administrative Assistant / Paralegal who wants variety and ownership — someone equally comfortable preparing a closing package, organizing discovery, or making sure the office is welcoming, stocked, and running smoothly. This is a true wear-many-hats, team-first role, not a single-lane job.

What You'll Do

Legal support

  • Assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and litigation filings.
  • Support litigation workflows — discovery, document review, deposition prep, and case file organization.
  • Prepare and coordinate closing packages for commercial transactions.
  • Manage filings, correspondence, and case records with precision and confidentiality.
  • Serve as a professional, responsive point of contact for clients.

Office and operations

  • Support daily operations — scheduling, billing coordination, HR onboarding, and vendor communication.
  • Keep the office running smoothly — answering phones, greeting visitors, and general office support.
  • Coordinate office organization and keep the kitchen and common areas stocked so the team and clients are well cared for.
  • Pitch in wherever needed — reliability and flexibility are what make this role work.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of paralegal, legal assistant, or office administration experience (law firm experience strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with discovery, pleadings, court filings, and case management (a strong plus).
  • Comfortable across both transactional and litigation matters.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management tools.
  • High initiative — anticipates needs, solves problems, and takes ownership.
  • A positive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude that reflects our team-first culture.

How to Apply

To apply, submit a cover letter telling us why this role stands out to you, along with your resume. All inquiries are handled with complete confidentiality.

Equal Opportunity Employer: JWL International is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status.
